Join Camp Dream on Nascar weekend to volunteer with Speedway Children's Charities, who's mission is to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives.

Saturday approximately 4:00pm-7:15pm
Sunday approximately    11:30am-3:30pm

In 1994, Atlanta Motor Speedway and the Optimist Clubs of Henry and Clayton counties formed the Speedway Children's Charities Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to raising funds to be distributed to qualified children's charitable organizations. Presently the Speedway Children's Charities Atlanta Board of Trustees consists of 15 members from all over the Atlanta area and over 200 volunteers.

Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Atlanta chapter of Speedway Children's Charities has raised over 3 million dollars to date. In 2013 over $100,000 was awarded to 24 local children's organizations. Grants are given to a variety of organizations and most likely have touched the life of someone you know. These funds were raised by the generous support of the racing, corporate and local communities.

Each year the money raised is done in a variety of ways. Events are held such as The David Ragan Clay Shoot, Ride of a Lifetime auction, Reed Sorenson Charity Golf Classic, Track Trek, Memorabilia Auction, and 50/50 Raffles just to name a few.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact Arielle Juarez via e-mail at SCC@AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com.
